Introduction

Digital Sublimation printing is the latest technology for the mass production of individual and personalised awards, gifts, momento and promotional items. The process involves firstly printing a transfer from an inkjet printer using special transfer inks. The transfer is then applied to the final receiving object and heat pressed, for as little as 15 seconds. Once the pressing cycle is complete the transfer is removed, revealing the finished product complete with transfered image. Sublimation transfers impregnate the surface of the object and cannot be felt on the surface or removed without removing the objects surface coating
